Federico Galavis was born in Caracas, Venezuela. From an early age he knew his path waited for him abroad. This path came along when he was finishing highschool and a Los Angeles based talent scout spotted him at a party and offered to fly him to Los Angeles and get him started in a modeling career. It all started as a big adventure that took him all over the world, but at the same time it was this adventure that united him with his true passion. So after being tired of traveling and living like a nomad he decided to go back to New York, the city that most impacted him and in it decided to take an acting class. This was what he was waiting for his entire life. He found the tools of expression that then transcended to writing. From then he moved to Los Angeles after finishing his studies in New York and found himself working very quickly, from TV commercials to independent films. Today making his owns visions a reality and is fully committed to bring awareness, education and inspiration through his work.

Federico has been featured in important publications like GQ, Details, Maxim, Upstreet, L’ Ummo Vogue, Vogue Italia, FHM, Flaunt among others. He also went to grace the catwalks of Calvin Klein, Nautica, Versace, Roberto Cavalli to name a few.  He was also involved in a varied range of worldwide advertising campaigns. But it was his true passion Acting/Writing who brought him back to Los Angeles quickly finding a safe heaven at celebrity center. Then his acting career started flourishing with a range of national commercials for giants like Ford, Macy’s, Nintendo, Mc Donald’s and others, simultaneously playing the lead on various music videos. But it wasn’t until he landed a small part in “The Virgin of Juarez” opposite Minnie Driver that filmmakers and casting directors started noticing him. He then got a supporting role as a young ambitious rebel on “Che Guevara” starring Spanish actor Eduardo Noriega under the helm of Josh Evans for worldwide DVD release on May 20th. Quickly Evans noticing his strong work ethic, self determinisms and talent lead him to cast him on his most recent film “Everybody Dies” an independent psychological thriller that is on the postproduction process and to be released on the near future.
